SDF fragmented over 20th May participation, Center Region, Litoral,Adamawa, SW and West Region say no to participation

Ni John Fru Ndi: Reflects on the way forward after top party barons refuse marching order ?

The Social Democratic Front party SDF is witnessing serious political setbacks that may end up fragmenting the party if care is not taken.
The chair man NiJohn Fru Ndi in a recent call for militants to participate in the May 20 2022 march pass has met with stiff resistance from Litoral, Center and West Region Regional leaders.
The controversy may result to end of road for the party that have numerous political setbacks.
The chair man has been Lambasted for double standard politics and for being consistently in consistent in major party decisions.
Jimmy Mbinkar in an article published on social media,lampoons the twist in the party's decision to participate in the 2022 May 20 march pass after issuing a commonique threatening to boycott due to the tuff conditions given for participation by the state , the on going political holabaloo in the Northwest and southwest Regions notwithstanding.

According to an official statement from the West regional chair lady Madam Tchangop Florent, Fri Ndi and OSih Joshua have Isolated them self from the SDF.Adamawa and Southwest regions are reported to have also opposed to the participation.
"We say no to Fru Ndi and OSih Joshua's call for the party to march on May 20 2022.

This is an indication that the political party has decided to put an end to its existence. Writes Jimmy Mbinkar.
He remarked in the article that "SDF Regional Chairman for the Centre Region yesterday came out with a strongly worded statement carrying fundamental reasons why the party should not participate in this year's 20th may activities.
A) That the party cannot stay silent while the genocide is ongoing in the party's backyard with total disregard to humanity;
2) that the economic hardship cameroonians have been subjected to by the selfish, corrupt, and tribal policies of the regime has brought untold sufferings and tears to cameroonians;
3) that the party cannot accept the conditions imposed by the CPDM that obliges the party to carry the effigy of the head of state President Paul Biya.
In the littoral region, his counter part the Regional Chairman,Hon Nintcheu echoed the same compelling reasons not to celebrate what to him is the consecration of hypocrisy and deceit in the guise of National unity.

These are the two largest constituencies in Cameroon.
Come back to the Anglophone zones.
The SDF was born in Bamenda. Throughout its chequered history 99% of its 30 years old representation in Parliament, Senate and Councils have come from these two regions. They constitute it's backbone. The regime is waging one of the most, merciless, ruthless, war against the people of these regions. Tens of thousands displaced. Thousands killed. Homes and properties destroyed. No one in his sane mind from these regions will celebrate an illusive unity amidst an ongoing armageddon at this point.
Right up to this morning it was clear a majority of the SDF militants are in support of a total boycott of the event. Something transpired between yesterday and today. Something that has been the trend in the decision making and choices of the declining party for the past 25 years. Something is shady, sinister and obscure. Some years back on the eve of the maiden Senatorial elections, the chairman of that party vowed with a cutlass in hand that if the rules were not changed, the party will never participate in the elections. One day to the elections he made a trip to Yaounde. Militants were shocked to see a smiling chairman over TV announcing a dramatic "U' turn by ordering the party to go in for elections that were due in 10 hours.
Fast forward to today. What must have transpired again between yesterday and today to warrant the shocking decision of the party in the last minute to order militants to participate in the march pass tomorrow?.
If the centre and littoral, chairmen are against this decision on what basis is the unilateral decision of the chairman?
If the party's base is coming under a relentless military assault against all that is living, against all that is structural, where then has the chairman received the backing from militants to order them to march tomorrow?
The answer is blowing in the winds.
Posterity will definitely hold the SDF party and its current leadership wholly responsible for the apocalyptic decimation of the lives of cameroonians and the anglophones in particular, for the destruction of hope, the imposition of misery and pain on the whole nation. This will be the number one and unforgivable cardinal sin of the party before it fades away from our collective memory".
