Security Challenges:Tubah D O commits self to God to triumph

       D O Tubah sub Division

The Divisional Officer for Tubah has reversed highhandedness, intimidation and threats, a common characteristic of Cameroon Administrators, upholding the Bible as his guide. This will enable him succeed as the population have already commended his administrative style. He considers himself more as a servant sent by the Head of state to promote peace, unity and development of the sub division. From his take, he rather sees himself as a servant not a lord. This is a rare quality as most Cameroon administrators consider themselves lords, not servants. They resort to intimidation and use of force  to govern. This archaic French colonial administration system, only create an atmosphere of fear, hatred and tension,where ever they found themselves. Northwest region is however beginning to witness a change, as the young generation administrators serving in the region are in most cases, giving a human face to their services, reversing the old colonial order of intimidation and dictatorship. 

       Massangaa Metougue Narcissi, the new D O for Tubah is one of those administrators who believes in good human relationship and depends on the Bible as a Panacea to all  human problems.  He uses St Francis Prayers as his administrative watch words.“Lord Make me a channel of thy peace, that where there is hatred, I may bring love; that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness; that where there is discord, I may bring harmony; that where there is error, I may bring truth; that where there is doubt, I may bring faith; that where there is despair, I may bring hope; that where there is a shadow , I may bring light; that where there is sadness , I may bring joy.Lord grant that I may seek rather to comfort than to be comforted; to understand , than to be understood ;to love than to beloved. For it is by self-forgetting that one finds. It is by forgiving that one is forgiven .It is by dying that one awakens to eternal life. Amen. 

     The D O was speaking to a cream of journalists who were in Tubah to evaluate the level of security ever since he took office as the divisional officer for the sub division hitherto citadel of Amba   fighters.  He told media men that  peace is gradually gaining ground in the Sub Division. He gave thanks to God , while appreciating the people for thier love and collaboration. 

 On 20 may celebration, he said movements of motor bikes and taxis have been restricted around the university campus and Bambili round about to avert any unforeseen.  Besides, he says has engage  in convivial talks with bikes riders  and the population to be law abiding for a return to normalcy in Tubah. 

  Lamenting the fact that most of those still holding guns and destabilizing the two regions are people of his generation, he reminded them that there is no house without the problems. But   the best approach should not use of guns but peaceful dialogue to avoid lost of human lives and property. He said the door of his office is open to fighters ready make amends to regain their normal life.  

 On the abduction of Senator madam Regina Mundi,  Massango Metougue  said it is an abomination as children are suppose to take care of their parents not the reverse. He prayed God and the fighters to have mercy on the old woman.
